Cataract

A cataract is when the lens of your eye becomes cloudy, leading to blurry and hazy vision. If you are experiencing these symptoms, consider seeing your optometrist.

Glaucoma

Glaucoma is when the fluid pressure in your eye builds up. This increase in eye pressure will push against your optic nerve and damage them. As these nerves die, blind spots will develop in your vision.

Ptosis

As people age, the skin and muscles of the eyelids stretch and weaken, potentially leading to an obstruction of vision. Ptosis could also be a side effect after certain surgeries.
